Three modules together complete the teacher's plan–do–assess cycle. Their shared principle: child-centredness is not claimed, it is checked.
Activity pool and design engine
The pool offers ready activities through thematic shelves and a discovery screen. The design engine starts from the classroom's curiosity: you write what the children are interested in, and the engine builds a draft in an EXPLORE / TRY-MAKE / SHARE-REFLECT flow. Every draft passes four checks: open-ended question review, safety scan, quality indicators and a 12-question child-centredness review. An activity that fails does not enter the pool.
Assessment and e-portfolio
- Seven item types: structured observation, anecdote, the child's work, photograph, audio recording, the child's own voice, and a learning story.
- Activity → assessment bridge: a record opens directly from an activity that was run, with no double entry.
- A “My Child's Learning Journey” timeline on the family side.
- The class portfolio is anonymous; there is no ranking or comparison.
The e-portfolio's most distinctive element is the child's voice: recording what a child says about their own work. It lifts assessment out of the adult's one-way interpretation and makes the child the narrator of their own learning.
Family library
For families there are micro-contents, activities to do at home and series; the “For You” stream personalises suggestions and makes the reason for each visible. A teacher can send a piece to their class with “share with families this week”, and an administrator can review content quality and language.
One thing is deliberately absent: reading tracking. What a parent opened and how long they read is neither measured nor reported. The idea of raising family engagement through surveillance has been rejected — ethically and practically.
With these three the cycle closes: the teacher designs the activity, observes while running it, links the observation to the portfolio, the report grows out of the portfolio, and the family library continues it at home. The same data is entered once and works in four places.
Let’s begin the journey to every child’s light.
